The newly renovated Hostel 24 Bloke lies at the heart of Bloke in Nova vas, close to Postojna cave and Cerknica Lake, yet far away from concrete cities and the dull routine of everyday life. A completely renovated hostel invites all nature lovers and sport enthusiasts to pay a visit and enjoy unspoilt nature.

The hostel offers 90 beds in cosy single, double, triple and quadruple rooms (additional bed available) and also dorm rooms. All rooms have their own bathroom with a shower and free wireless internet access. The hostel also has a TV-Room, offers rental of sport equipment, a storage room for sport equipment, mountain bike rental, etc....

 Near the Volčje Village, the locals have tidied the surroundings of Lake Bloke. In the summer, the lake attracts swimmers, and in winter, the frozen surface is irresistible to ice skaters. Almost throughout the year, though, fishermen can be seen dipping their baits into the lake, hoping to catch a large Carp, Trout, or Common Rudd. The beautiful and pleasant surroundings, warm lake water, and shallow marshes are a guarantee of a pleasant stay. |  A fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls, the astonishing diversity of Karst features as well as easy access are certainly the main reasons for such popularity of the cave and a large number of visitors, which has already reached 36 million in 200 years. Postojna Cave is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world's largest karst monuments. Many books and other contributions have been written about Postojna Cave. |  The Predjama Castle reigns over the surrounding area, perched high up in a vertical cliff, 9 km from the Postojna Cave, in the idyllic village of Predjama. It is an interesting and romantic sight throughout the year: in the spring and the summer its surroundings are abundant with blossoms and flowers, in the autumn it is clad in the colours of surrounding forests and it is at its most enchanting in the winter when the surrounding area is covered in snow. |

 Lake Cerknica has no surface outflow; all the water seeps underground and surfaces as the Rak River in the Rakov Škocjan Valley. Lake Cerknica is a part of the karst river system of the Ljubljanica River – a river that bears seven different names altogether.The sunken karst valley of Rakov Škocjan was named after the church of St. Cantianus, the ruins of which can still be seen today. The main attractions of Rakov Škocjan are Tkalca Cave, Zelške Caves, and the Big and Little Natural Bridges. |  The Križna jama cave is a worldwide attraction known as the karst cave. Its features are underground lakes with sinter's barriers and an extremely interesting site with bones of bears, along with the naturally preserved environment for animals. The length of all passages is over 8 km (6 miles). Air temperature inside the cave is constant throughout the whole year +8°C. The cave drains away water from the southern side of Bloke plateau towards the eastern margin of Cerknica Polje. |  Kadice gorge. Waterfall and whitewaters are located along the road Sodražica-Bloke. After the settlement Podklanec is a rise in the road. At the top of the rise road splits a rock apart from the hill. There is a macadame parking place. Fine path leads from the parking place to the waterfall and whitewaters. |
 Snežnik Castle is the best-preserved castle building in Notranjska region. This hunting post was first mentioned in sources in 1268. The formation of the existing castle reaches back to 1462, when Schneeberg manor (dvor Sneberk) was mentioned in manuscripts. First it was owned by the Aquileian Patriarchs and later the owners changed several times. Before the war it was the property of the Saxon family Schönburg from the vicinity of Dresden. |  Cerknica Lake, the largest disappearing lake in Slovenia, enraptures visitors with numerous interesting natural phenomena and diverse flora and fauna. The lake fills in the spring and during rainy periods, offering possibilities for numerous water sports and fishing. |
